Sexing Embden Geese at a Glance
 
 
Full grown males usually weigh between 30-35 lbs
 
Full grown females usually weigh between 20-22 lbs.
 
The voices of females are slightly higher in pitch and they will occasionally make a, "kaw-kaw-kaw," sound that males don't.
