Kat found River! Poor girl was muddy and dirty and in desperate need of a new home. Her owners were selling her. She had no pond and was walking through tons of thick mud. Even her house was wet and muddy.

Here she is trying to clean up and re-oil. Poor girl is soaking wet. I hope her feathers recover and regain their waterproofing.

She is a beauty though and very friendly. I can't wait for Moon to meet her!
