I tried to take some photos that illustrate the rebuild work we've been doing on the upper half of The Courtyard these past couple of months.

You can see all the new 4' x 4' posts and overhead beams. It's kind of hard to capture the whole scene because the pens are larger than the span of the camera lens. It can also be tricky to visualize because there are three different pens inside this part of the enclosure.

Part of next year's goal is to put up the wire roofing overhead to replace the aviary net. It sure will be nice not to have to run out during snow storms to clear the aviary nets all night long, but it will be years before all the pens are completely finished. Still... nice to imagine the day...
