Ducks and Geese Adopted

Here are photos of the ducks and geese that we have placed in permanent homes so far. We love to hear from their new families. If you have updated photos of a duck or goose you have adopted from us, or a story to share about them, please email us, so we can update this page for you.

Puddles and Jeru went to their new home in Mystic, Connecticut. The boys will be enjoying the company of 2 alpacas, 2 goats, a mini horse and 2 Pekin hens. They are both enjoying a safe enclosure with kiddie pools and access to a brook to keep their legs strong. Both boys have been with us for a long time, so it was wonderful to finally send them off with a loving family.

Vixen and Prancer came to us from another shelter with a handful of other ducks. They were living in overcrowded conditions in a small barn, deprived of food and water. We adopted out the hens in pairs and this pair was the last to go. Vixen was one of our all-time favorites here at Majestic. She was a special girl who took interest in all the new things around her, and Prancer kept a close and protective eye on her good friend. The two girls were adopted out to a loving home with a wonderful goose who needed some companionship.
