Ducks and Geese Adopted
Here are photos of the ducks and geese that we have
placed in permanent homes so far. We love to hear from

Chan is a gentle goose who is quite vocal (in a
charming way) and enjoys the company of best friend Ali. We had a lot of fun vocalizing with Chan
while he was at our sanctuary. We mimicked his happy
mutterings and he sent them back our way. We were certain conversations were
being had; we were just not all that certain what we were saying.
Chan, Ali, Bowie and China all went together to a new
and loving home where they joined up with a Toulouse
hen.
Ali was an amazing gander. He came to us with
absolutely no manners at all--a virtual tyrant. Ali and
Chan were the first 2 geese we ever rescued. During
their stay here, six other geese joined us and their
gaggle. Ali learned some real manners from the other
geese and from us. He blossomed emotionally and took on
a pleasant demeanor. Having him here was a learning and
growth experience for us all.Ali, Chan, Bowie and China all
went together to a new and loving home where they joined
up with a Toulouse hen.
