Nine Duck Rescue & Nine Majestic Adoptions!
It takes a village...
Special thanks to Steven for contacting us about the nine abandoned ducks in PA, Emily for hands-on rescuing them despite the after effects of a snowstorm (woo hoo!) and Kate for being such an amazing foster momma while the nine recovered in her barn. Thank you Kate, Collin, Samantha, KT, Cynthia, Krystal, and Lisa for assisting in transportation and helping us get each of these ducks to their new homes! And thank you Tony for stopping by Majestic to measure Branch & Poppy for diaper harnesses and loaning their new family a pair until theirs come in! Huge thanks to everyone who helped to share our posts and spread the word about these nine abandoned pets, far and wide--enabling us to save and find homes for each and every one of them in record time! And last, but not at all least, thank you to all of our Majestic donors! Your financial support makes our endeavor possible!

It was pretty fun watching their plane as it came in, especially at that final turn toward the coast! Kind thanks to Mystic Jet Center for your hospitality, welcoming Amber through your doors and then out to her awaiting flight!
This was the most fun we've ever had on an adoption day! How special is this?!!!
But that doesn't mean Kim didn't cry as their plane soared off into the sunset...

Ohio Rescue
Just when we were about to curl up for a nap, Cindy and Jack reached out to us for urgent help with a lone survivor, male Rouen. Thankfully, they knew enough to intervene and quickly rounded up this little guy who they dubbed Little Boy! They found a safe place for him to rest for the night and then contacted us for help finding him a safe and loving place to go... but where would that be???
Hmmm... How about with Lisa at Mid-Ohio Waterfowl Rescue! Be sure to visit them on Facebook and donate to get this new sanctuary up and running strong! Majestic can't save them all, so we count on other shelters who are also diving in to help (that was a little duck joke there... dive in... get it?!). If you're within reach of Lisa, please consider volunteering to help them out. You have no idea how valuable even one extra set of hands is until you see for yourself! And you get to be around ducks too! I mean, why wouldn't you volunteer?!
